Belated Thanks

I have had my dream job for the past few months and I LOVE it. I have always wanted to be a teacher and while it took me almost ten years to do it I have never been happier. I teach middle school and while most people would call me crazy (myself included) it's been an amazing four months.

I am also thankful for my brand new car. While I loved loved the tank my new car is AWESOME. It's a 2010 Toyota Corolla and super cute. A few years ago my brother received his masters from the University of Miami and received a new car with new car smell. My daddy told me that if I received a masters I too could have a brand new car with new car smell. Well hello masters and hello new car. Thanks mom and dad!!!!

Woot Woot

It's almost thanksgiving which means my parents are coming to visit me! I'm super excited but that means that I have to spend today cleaning and decluttering my apartment. I'm a bit of a pack rat and well I'm a giant mess so this could take a while! Wish me luck!

On a happier note when my parents come visit me next week they will be bringing the BEST present EVER!!!! I got a new car! woot woot! It was my graduation gift from my mommy and daddy and I am super duper pumped. It is a 2010 Toyota Corolla! Pictures will be posted when I get my new baby.

Today is Gamma Phi Beta's Founders Day! When I joined Gamma Phi in 2001 I had no clue the impact it would have on my life today. I wasn't the most active collegian but I have become a very active alum and LOVED it!

i am going to meet the boyfriends parents this weekend! i can't wait and am super excited partially because they seem really awesome and partially because i get to meet bf's super cute niece and nephew. we have a jam packed weekend and i am really excited to meet everyone.

Fall Break

I have been planning my fall break adventures for months now and of course in true Jen style I get sick! I was planning on going to the big D to see my precious nephew p-diddy and his mom my best friend from the womb em. I was also going to see one of my favorite cousins and spend quality time with her and her peeps and now all that has gone down the drain. I HATE germs! I spend countless hours using clorox wipes in my class and making sure my germy students use the hand sanitizer and I still get sick. I have the world's worst immune system! I will be spending the weekend cleaning up my nasty apartment and hopefully finally getting it finished and ready for my fantastic guest next weekend!!! Which I will have more to blog about soon.
