PICKENS...

so i don't really sleep anymore. silly grad school! since i don't sleep i spend quite a bit of time overthinking projects, searching the web, and basically stalking people on facebook... he he!  i have also spent quite a bit of time watching the history channel and channel i which is investigation discovery.  (ryan you'd be soo proud) 

the reason i am discussing this is that i have realized that teaching is definitely what i want to do. i love learning new things, and all this history is very very interesting so i'm restating my you should learn something new every day!  random day of the fact today is about mr. t.boone pickens of holdenville, oklahoma.  that's right holdenville right near good ole seminole.  he's related to some founding fathers of south carolina, which i found to be very interesting because governor pickens was fiesty and very forward thinking kind of like mr.pickens.

also have i mentioned i'm an aunt?  parker is precious!!! everyone should make me an aunt.  ok maybe not everyone but i'm all for it! ha ha...

TORI SPELLING....

so apparently i'm tori spelling.  nat and jr have decided that after viewing dean and tori i remind them of ms. spelling.  a normal person would be insulted, but considering i love love love love 90210 i'm totally okay with this.  school is still school. it's been kicking my butt and then some, but apparently i'm kicking back! :) sooo pumped.  

today's random fact that i learned is that mr t.boone pickens of holdenville, oklahoma is related to some famous south carolinians of the past.  

I'm an Aunt!! Emily had Parker yesterday and I'm sooo excited! I will post pictures as soon as they come in!

BORED IN CLASS

Hello all! 

  i'm sick of school and getting my learn on.  it's totally overrated!  although i am getting excited/nervous to be going into the schools in a few weeks. i will be spending the first part of my semester with an english teacher who teachers 7th and 8th grade.   let's just hope these kids aren't too much taller than me.  hello six inch heels! ha ha! 

  how is everyone's summer going? mine is going well. enjoying my last few weeks petsitting matzah and her not so lovely farting.  it's not so ladylike! she also hogs the bed and well hello that's my job. i'm the princess not her, i've definitely met my match. ha ha.

   

Summer School Part Deux

As I sit here in my geography class I realize how little i really know, which is annoying.  so my challenge to you friends and family is to learn ONE new thing a day.  If you want to share that one new thing you can.  

I have learned something about myself, and that is like my grandparents I have been bitten by the travel bug.  Sadly, I don't quite have the funds they do so my travel bug is being squashed by some "no more itchies!"  I also learned that South Carolina used to the whole Northern part of the United States, not the small little corner of dixie we are today.  That's my real fact of the day.  

I am still dog-sitting for the Kelmans' and while I love matzah (the dog) I'm ready to go home. I like being home, I'm a nerd what can I say?  

Also, on a happier note I'm waiting for Em to have Parker. I get to be an aunt!  I'm soo excited.  That's all for now!

Miss me?

Hello friends and family.

  I'm back at the whole blogging thing!  School is kicking my arse and then some. By the end of this month I will have completed 9 hours of summer school.  Due to that fact I haven't really talked to anyone so I thought blogging would make me not such a bad friend.  Plus Nat and Ryan love it when I blog!  

   I am house sitting Matzah she is a cocker spaniel and we are in love.  She's precious and way sweeter than my evil (but lovable) puppies.  We tried to have a sleep over at my parents last weekend but Elvis attacked her.  He's evil and then some.  

  I spent last weekend in Atlanta and had the "best fake birthday ever"  I kept repeating those words all night! ha ha!  

Ok back to studying!
